BRINGING LAB-BASED ASSAY TO THE POINT-OF-CARE
We help our customers transfer existing lab-based assays to access the point-of-care market
Our Services
POCT INSTRUMENTATION DEVELOPMENT
We have expertise in rapidly developing prototype instrumentation for POCT development. This includes mechanical design, embedded systems, fluorescence detection and thermal systems for PCR.
CARTRIDGE PROTOTYPING
Transferring lab-based assays into a self-contained POC cartridge format is particularly challenging, especially during early stage development. We have expertise in the design and development of microfluidic cartridges capable of automating virtually any assay.
ASSAY DEVELOPMENT
Assay development is key to any successful POCT system. We have experience of developing immunoassays and PCR assays into POCT cartridge formats.
Solidworks Design
We offer SolidWorks CAD services with particular expertise in consumable cartridges and mechanical elements for POCT instrumentation.
3D Printing
Quickly transform your design concepts into physical form with our 3D printing services.
Laser cutting
We have particular expertise with laser cutting of diagnostic membranes and adhesives for the rapid prototyping of working prototypes

Microfluidic valves
We have developed the capability to produce microfluidic valves for integration with POCT cartridges. This allows sophisticated workflows to be implemented in an automated POCT cartridge format.
POCT Instrumentation
We are able to rapidly develop instrumentation systems for feasibility testing and proof-of-concept studies and work with trusted partners to scale-up for commercialisation. Our expertise includes mechanical systems (pumps, motors, pneumatic valves, etc.), thermal control systems (e.g. for PCR), fluorescence imaging detection, and embedded systems for instrument control.
